C7 uses a completely difference suspension than the camaros. C7's use a leaf spring setup and you can lower a c7 by literally moving bolts to another notch and done. No need for aftermarket or anything. Just need to jack up the car and get to it haha.

Correct on Corvettes having factory height-adjustment, but there are no notches as you mention, just screw the bolt in or out. You can generally go about a 1/2" up or down from the factory height with the factory bolts. Lower if you go with aftermarket lowering bolts. I took mine all the way down on the factory bolts and MRC still functions properly with no change in ride quality.

Thank you!!! I still do find the system being called a Leaf haha. But hey, it's an awesome system!

Right, understood but my point the fact the it is mag ride would make not difference in lowing the car. Are the Mag ride and the standard struts the same size. If so should not be an issue.

Gotcha. But there must be something we are missing when it comes to being an "issue". If not, they would've already released lowering springs for the MRC as they already did for the non-mrc cars.

Most aftermarket companies aren't up to modifying let alone know what they are doing with complex components such as the MRC, it's as simple as that.

It would be interesting to see if GM comes out with a lowering kit for the MRC since they do for their non MRC shock/spring setup.

Randy already mentioned driving the 2SS that MRC is a phenomenal system from the factory, so Id hope GM will come out with a lowering kit themselfs.

I wholeheartedly agree!!! MRC is a VERY complex system and coming out with springs will take time. GM will take longer than any other aftermarket company is what I would say due to GM has to pass it through way too many channels. But they also did announce it MONTHS ago so we shall see. I do wish they could give us a timeline for stuff.

Might have to come from GM to be done properly, at least for now.

Damping requirements in rebound go up as you make the springs stiffer (which any lowering spring even halfway worth its salt should be).

Otherwise you'd generally expect the overall result to move closer to the ride quality end of the ride-handling spectrum and cost you a little tire grip. I don't think it'd be as difficult to reflash the MRC module as it will be to get GM to let go of the programming or only just the access to it.
