A few years later I'll buy a Z/28 also lol. Some of us want the best DD we can buy. I'm not trying to drive a Z/28 daily even though I will.

I need a new daily and you know I drive every car I own rain sleet or snow. That included the 2015 Z/28 I had. PS, I want 6 piston front brakes and Ediff on my 2.0T 1LE.
I don't think the e-differential would be offered with the LT. It's not on the V6 1LE.

Then there is no point in me buying the car. This is the problem I have with building performance line of cars.if its going to have a 1LE badge on it make it a 1LE regardless of engine size. This is same same way I feel about any performance line of cars. Use the best parts for the models you make period. I just don't get it. And yes I knew they wasn't going to offer the Ediff for the v6 version which is a letdown also.

I think they do that to tier their pricing structure. Could it be a manufacturing limitation? Possibly a marketing limitation? Sales? I'm not totally sure but I definitely would like to see the V6 1LE amenities come in a package from the factory with the Turbo 4. Would I like to see an e-differential on the LT? Who wouldn't! I think GM has their reasoning but I don't know why. At least give the 1LE V6 package for the Turbo 4 as well. Maybe asking for all the others is icing on the cake. But who knows...

BRZ, FRS, FT86 - all the same car, but they are not turbos. What they have is lightness and smallness - They weigh under 2800lbs, and are 5" skinnier, and 22" shorter in length (yes... that's almost 2 feet) compared to the 2016 Camaro. A *huge* difference in tight courses (when you consider your "all series" of racing). They are not, and will not, be in the same series, or class, of racing.

The camaro is much too big and heavy.

6 piston brakes seems overkill for a 3300 lb car. The rotors and brakes would add a lot of weight to the car, and you would have to put bigger wheels on the car to clear the brakes, which also add weight.

Then you factor in that the brakes, wheels, and E-differential would probably make your version of the 2.0T 1LE cost as much as an SS, its pretty hard to make a business case for such a car.

That's what they said when I won my auto class in a big heavy 1LE Camaro. Just like how heavy and stricted the Z/28.R was in the continental tire series to which also won its class in a big heavy super restricted car. When you have facts to stand on the I'll listen. Until then, keep thinking our big heavy Camaro won't out handle any of the cars you stated. I know they the same model. They can have 4 different kind and it still won't match the 2.0T Camaro.

Speak for yourself. Keep that negativity to yourself. I don't need you making any such decisions for me period.

The 1le 4cyl turbo will NOT be in any of the same racing classes as the ft86/brz. Just not the same size (too big), weight (too heavy), power (too powerful) when compared to those cars.

I didn't say anything negative about the car. Read what I said and don't let your inner fanboi cloud your judgement.
