Get rid of the side spear. Get rid of the "90's honda" looking stripe on the lower side.
If you want more red, stick some red hash marks on there or Matt black hash marks.
When I first got the RS, I tried it for a little. I've gone a different route since then and removed them. They don't look too bad in person. Keep experimenting.

Any one of those is ok. But all three is overkill.

My 2 cents - Get rid of all of the stripes and either paint your calipers red or get the 6-piston upgrade. That's all the red you need in my opinion. Otherwise, try the old-style red hash marks. The new hash marks are hideous.

Well, since you asked - it is too much in my opinion but it is not my car.

For me, the overkill is the side stripe on the lower door/rear quarter.

I'm another one of those 'the less the better' kind of guys but again, it's just my opinion.

If you like the look, that is all that matters right? But given you've now asked about this look on two different forums, obviously other people's opinions matter to you. Not sure why but hey, that's you.

So what are you going to do?

I think these two graphical elements circled in green need to go ASAP. The lower side stripe is just too 80's and the hood graphic reminds me of Cobra from G.I. Joe. Would be better just to keep the upper side spears and keep the hood stripe solid. I'd also remove the bit of the stripe that extends under the grill and instead have the stripe end at the very edge near the top of the grill so it at least aligns with the side spears a little better. Otherwise, you have stuff starting and stopping all over the place which looks like crap.

This is how I would simplify it a bit.

I disagree so much with this. I absolutely LOVE the new hash mark style. The old hash marks in my opinion are completely hideous and I would never consider them.

variety is the spice of life, I think the new GM hash stripes are terrible. Big worm is making me some burgundy conventional hashes that should be subtle.

Thanks Renegade. I do like that. I think I'll try that look.

I do admit, I think I got a little carried away.
