Based on your dealer they will let you pay for it as soon as you like, mine asked if I wanted to and I said yes... The part that sucks is Becky loses all viewing rights to status when it changes code to 6000.

So as far as GM cares , Delivery is when you have submitted the paperwork to GM. at that point they change the code to 6000?

I have done the paper work, they have my trade, however they are holding the paperwork until the car arrives. So if the dealer and I both agreed to submit the papers/title etc, that should generate 6000, I assume other things will happen as well, such as warranty start etc. I would be willing to make that trade for a thousand bucks

Both my wife's 2SS Silver Vert plus my neighbor's wife’s 2SS White Vert are now advertised on my dealer's web site (Tom Gibbs Chevrolet in Pam Coast FL) as in transit as a special $600 discount!

We both ordered the same day. Wanted to keep our wives happy especially since they are neighbors!!

So all dealers do this to generate traffic/interest, even though both are spoken for.

No, I didn't. I ordered before there was any color sample to look at. In fact my sales rep thought there were only going to be black and brown (Kalahari it turns out).

Also, having had various 'verts over the years, I've found black is the easiest to keep looking nice.
