I love my auto and would like to see it in a 1LE.
ZL1s weren't always supercharged. Z/28s weren't always track cars. I think it could add to the track experience with the paddle shifts. I almost exclusively drive my auto with tap shift. But if it's not offered I won't be heart broken. I'm still hopeful to get at least a 6gen 1LE or ZL1 if I get lucky. Regardless of auto

I hope not. Then everyone and their grandma will be in a 1LE.

This is the first I'm hearing of this and I work in a service dept in Houston. We sell about a dozen C7s a month with 60% of them being A8s and I haven't heard of that complaint yet.

Yes, it does. Being a traditional style auto with a torque converter works against it for track purposes. I've experienced the overheating concern first hand with the new Z06 on course. When driving it in manual mode, it only exasperates the situation. Normal or spirited driving is fine. Track work, you better be watching those tranny temps.

If the A10 was going to be in the 1LE, it would have been at the reveal.

Anything "might happen". But it's my understanding that modern 1LE's are manual transmission only on purpose, and we don't know if the A10 is going into the regular Camaro lineup, yet.

I think the A10 may be in the 1LE depending on the Ford/Mustang response to the several tons of bricks Chevy has been dumping on them with the SS/1LE/ZL1. As long as the A10 is track worthy, it's just another card in GM's hand that it can play anytime.
