I've been car-less since the beginning of the month. At this point I just want to know if I'll need to pony up the cost of a rental car since no one knows how many more weeks until the car moves.

That sucks man...my dealer didn't even offer to do the sale before my car got here. Even though I have a 2nd car I could've driven in the meantime.

My car got here yesterday but whoever was doing PDI decided to try putting the hashmarks on themselves versus letting the bodyshop do it. My salesman caught it before I started driving over (there were bubbles). I told him just tell the bodyshop to take the hashmarks off and I will go without them (I was having second thoughts anyways).

Gonna pick up at 5:00 PM tonight!

It does. I'm going to the dealership tomorrow morning and getting to the bottom of this. Other TPWs after 2/29 are getting their cars. I just want to know why this is happening and why it wasn't caught before.

Yeah...Becky said all the dealers can see the same thing she sees so if they would have looked they would have known it hadn't shipped. I'm betting yours got chosen for a quality control check. Unfortunately they don't know which cars are special order and which are regular dealer stock. Hopefully it's on the way by now.

If it makes you feel any better a guy in my 3/21 group got his car delivered in 2 days, built on Tuesday & arrived at dealer today... So it's possible that you will get your car in 2 days.. It can happen.

I just went to that dealers site. That car finally made it...6 months later!!! Glad I didn't wait for that one!! lol

It's funny, my dealership also pretty much had no clue when I would get the car and certainly weren't as responsive as Becky...who didn't even sell me the car!

If these dealers would give their receptionists access to the system that Becky picks, they could have the receptionist send out updates weekly to the customers. Simple customer service that would go a long way. Hell, the receptionist at my dealer pretty much just sits there, looks good and answers the phone once in a while.

I finally got a diagnostic update from OnStar. Car is in Lansing. But really close to the rails.

I sure hope it's loaded soon!!! So they can't check the status because once you paid for it the status went to 6000 so the system didn't track it anymore is that correct?

My dealer can check. They haven't responded to my email since Wednesday. Even after GM got involved. I got both the dealer and GM surveys. I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything. All I want is to be kept informed about the status of my car. We'll see how quick they respond to my email when I inform them I won't be giving them tens on the surveys. It's a shame.

I agree 100% it's not like they are checking for 50 people, they have what one or two cars they should be checking on. I tell you the dealers definitely don't like bad reviews.

Update: my car has been sitting at the rail yard in Houston for two days now. I drove by but wan't able to see it, namely because they are private roads. The dealer had originally stated that once it got to the rail yard, it would be here the next day. So after tracking my car the entire weekend, I emailed him Saturday and then called today. I expected to pick it up since more than a day had passed from unload. Apparently they are doing everything they can to get it for tomorrow's load.

We shall see.

I've officially waited more than 6 weeks since the car was built and bayed. I ordered back in January and have been car-less for a month. GM had gotten involved and promised I would be "compensated". The senior advisor has not returned my calls in a week. Go figure now they're acting like the dealership

Needless to say, unless something magical happens tomorrow, I will not be giving tens on the surveys. They said on the survey to "please call if you are not completely satisfied". I wonder if they'll answer this time?

I hope you get some good news soon. I'm still waiting on mine as well. Been 4B00 for well over a month. The last thing my dealer told me was that as of March 17th, they were trying to allocate a rail car. No word since then, and the car hasn't been started recently so I can't even check it with Onstar.

Is anyone on here still waiting??? Rallyyellow... any news for you? I finally located my car with Onstar. It's still sitting outside the Grand River Assembly plant in Lansing. Doesn't seem to have gone anywhere since February. That's 6 weeks after production and still no progress.
