Andy, will you guys be fabing your own in house CAI and scoop similar to the 5th gen model you made. I think either that or Cold Air Inductions is the route I am most leaning towards.

Thanks

No scoop required as this car has one already. Mike(Rotofab) and I will be working closely on an ADM Branded Rotofab Intake this go around.

Love the sound of a supercharger and miss my SC G8GT a lot. This new Camaro is just about a fast or maybe as fast as my g8. I won't know till I actually put some drag radials on it.

That is cool, Andy. It would be a loooong drive from Miami but would love to be able to see/hear it in person.

It was very crowded

Took a little while to get in and a long time to leave but the event went well, many could not believe what they were looking at. The car is going to
be sold now and we are moving to another one we have on order.

The second car is going to be the monster build.

Ill keep you posted

How does this price compare to the same price of your centrifugal option from you shop, and what centri system do you use?
Thank you.

As a long time GM enthusiast with many builds under my belt, I always try to give other GM owners the good advice to avoid positive displacement blowers like the one in this thread, and to chose a superior front mount twin turbo or centrifugal supercharger instead.

Even though I would never install a PD blower on a car, the 2.3L TVS2300 from the LS9 would be a much better positive displacement blower than the 1.7L from the LT4. (port matching the blower to the LT1 heads would obviously need to be addressed)

Look how that torque drops off as RPMs build. "All that torque" is in the worst place possible, and big off idle torque is just going to further reduce traction anyway.
I'm sorry this is just one of the most ridiculous things I have ever read. There are plenty of reasons and advantages to a PD roots blower, mostly the desire for instantaneous power which is nearly impossible with a Centri blower or Turbo. As far as "too much bottom end" give me a break. the more torque you can have at the bottom the better, have you ever seen a turbo dyno? They spike at very low RPM and hold a very similar line to what is above. There is a reason most manufacturers utilize a roots blower for OEM. They're light, reliable, and make a ton of power while maintaining drivability.

INSTANT TORQUE - You can't beat it, ask the diesel guys and the Tesla Owners.

The Tesla P 90 D goes 0-60 in 2.85 seconds on a public street on oem tires using Torque to get there.

As far as ADM not offering its customers twin turbo packages(from another thread) that's a bold face lie as we build twin turbo cars all the time. Current cars in our shop are all twin turbo, yes they have lag.
