How does it sound during normal driving? How loud is it? I imagine it's pretty close to NPP when bypassing the muffler.

At WOT, does it sound "too loud"? When I got my '00 Z28, the guy I bought it from removed the muffler on an otherwise stock exhaust and I thought it was WAY too loud. Not sure if it's the same on the '16.

haven't noticed much on the highway 2nd around below 20mph sound weird but put it to third and is quiet . 75mph in 6th no hills sounds stock until you get under medium load then it drones a little this is all on a M6 not sure how it is on the auto.

The stock x-pipe makes it sound pretty good WOT is a little raspy over 5k rpms but to be expected. Compared to my friends 2016 with a corsa cat back its not as aggressive but still loud.

I come home from work around 12:30 am and in 3rd gear its pretty quiet in the neighbor hood, Cold starts are not that bad compares to my 2009 cobalt ss with 3inch catless down pipe and muffler delete.

If you dont like it too aggressive I would just get a nice axel back.

Loud on scale 1-10 (I am 26 results may vary)
Low speed under 25mph
4/10
cruising under 45mph
5/10
Highway cruising 55-75mph
5/10
WOT
10/10
aggressive acceleration
8/10
idle
4/10
Cold start
6/10

I like it If you want a aggressive exhaust and dont mind gugles and pops on decel this is a cheap alternative to a axel back. **not responsible for bruising from spouse after going WOT**

This is very informitive. I've had this done on my 06 GTO and my 12 Superbee and they sounded great, with the GTO bettering the Charger. I was just holding out to hear or read about the drone. Me and the Wife love the raspy and popping sounds that come from straight pipes so there won't be a problem there. I'll be getting this done very soon.

Thanks for all the info!
