Will GM finally make the ZL1 faster than the base Vette?
Curious as to what you all think. The old ZL1 never pulled and normally got pulled on in a drag race and me being a drag strip rat want to know what you think. Think it will finally accelerate better? I think so but you never know.

I'm confused. The C6 LS3 cars were mid 12's cars...the Gen 5 ZL1 was a low 12s...so didn't this already occur?
I'm not a drag rat, so if I'm off base, feel free to let me know.

I think this ZL1 is going to match or come really close to the C7 GS on the track; but the ZL1 will win in the 1/4 mile.
It's going to be bad as ^$*# |

There was probably an 800 pound difference between old ZL1 and C6 Vette... And ZL1 was faster.
This gen the Vette gained a bit of weight and the ZL1 will lose 200+ pounds.. Straight like, ZL1 will be noticeably faster than a non Z06 Vette. |

Post 2 had it right. The ZL was already faster than the base vette.

Things like this make me wish I had access to the underlying hosting system's nginX access/error logs to be able to correlate where all these 1 shot and supposed troll accounts are coming from..
It would be interesting to see if they're the same group of people or even person and to lock them out through various methods.. Though, admittedly, IP Ban is incredibly easy to circumvent and there are plenty of anonymizing sites and tech that can get around plenty of bans as long as you know how to employ them. |
