Reminds me of the Chevy SS front end. Very similar lower grille.

They do need a high performance model. The Americans still have to dominate Honda with a "dirt nasty low" hatch! Hatch still looks better than the sedan, though its not that bad. Tail lights kinda remind me on an older model S-class.

I think it looks pretty sweet, but now they need to do an SS version with that front end. It already looks angry lol

I like the changes. The old headlights looked awful, and the grills looked unnecessarily narrow. The foglights look more integrated in the design, rather than just stuck into a plug of grey plastic.
That reminds me ... why, oh why, does GM love to put a big holes in the lower corners of the fascias of their cars, only to stick a fog light in there & fill the rest of the area with dark grey plastic? Make the hole the size of the foglight & don't bother with an ugly plastic surround. If need be (so that there is only 1 fascia mold to make), use a round body coloured plug to cover the hole for cars that don't get foglights. It would look better (in my opinion) and be cheaper for them to make.

I love the rear park assist. i'm sure it's a PITA to park backwards in this massive car.

I want to see the interior and hope it has improvements. The wife drives a Sonic as a DD, and loves it.

Actually, upon further consideration, the 2017 Sonic does not look better than the current generation; it simply looks different. Its corporate Chevrolet fascia deprives it of character. The new design still makes the Sonic a good-looking vehicle, however.
