Good question
Quote:
We have been doing superchargers on Ls cars with very similar parts with no issues. Its not to say bad parts in this day and age exist,People that abuse the system exist. Can it be broken...Of course if you try hard enough! We are very happy so far with the entire package. Andy |

This kit sounds great for a street / public roads driven car
Andy, What fuel and tune where used for the Dyno run? Was it the same fuel for the Z06 Dyno run? |

Are you in DFW area? How much to install & tune it? Also, would you recommend this over a Whipple or Maggie? Thanks in advance.

Nice numbers for both weight and horsepower. But I think once you start building up the suspension, chassis, and drivetrain, then for sure the weight will increase a little. Maybe close to the actual Gen6 ZL1.

Some of those cases you take something off and replace it with something even lighter/stronger. Will be interesting to see how the SS stacks up to the real ZL1 with the same HP

Yes. I remember when I upgraded my 4gen SS, I lost some weight, even when I added sub-frame connectors. But then I added back some weight when I replace my original wheels with the ZR1 repos and bigger tires. At least I compensated it when I did heads/cam and other power goodies. ADM's ZL1/SS and the real ZL1 will be an very interesting comparison, indeed.
