I honestly can't see any visible sign that the fenders have been widened like they claim. I guess we'll have to see later this year when the car is actually out. I'd imagine any wheel that fits the ZL1 can fit the SS and vice versa like last time, though, and that the supposedly wider fenders are for wheelbase width and not clearance reasons if anything.

To each their own. I think the original 1LE style rims shown off in the spy photos look way better. As per last time, GM will probably offer at least a couple rim options on the ZL1.

Trade out the heated seats for functioning tow hooks, unlike the 5th gen.

The ZL1 is probably intended to be a car with creature comforts that can be driven off the track. I actually hate to say it, but the odds are decent that most ZL1s will never see a track or drag strip and will be bought just for bragging rights. That's the reality.

Great article! The seats look to be the same as the 1LE, how did they feel?

Also, is the rear tire width 305 like the 1LE? Same tires as the 1LE basically on new wheels right?

As the owner of a 13 ZL1 and a 14 Stingray Z51, I have to say, I still like the interior of the Camaro over the Vette's interior. This monster ZL1 looks awesome. I may have to break my promise to the old lady about not buying anymore new cars.

Nooooooooo.... GM please put an embargo on selling ZL1 parts like done on the Z/28.

The 1st ZL1 had the coolest wheels ever, then they put them on the 1LE then there were aftermarket copies. Now everyone has them.

I love these new wheels. Keep them exclusive.
