Dark Night Ambient Lighting?

Curious if anyone has ordered this LPO item.

I really like the ambient lighting, and since I will be ordering a 2017 1SS 1LE, I am curious as to how good/crappy the Dark Night looks compared to the standard Structura ( the silver lighted door trim on 2LT/2SS)

Looks neat but I wouldn't pay more than $100 as opposed to the ones I already am getting in the 2SS (I am getting them, right?).

2SS has them. I think it depends on interior color as to whether this will look better or not. I have the kalahari interior and I wouldn't want mine to be this Dark Knight color.

I have the dark night upgrade. I ordered a 1SS because I am not a leather fan so this option gave me the door ABL lighting and footwell. Come with everything needed to wire up and to install. If I would have done it all over again I would have let my dealership install it. The hardest part was getting the door panels off and on. Mine was a LPO order with my Camaro. After installed the Camaro has to be reprogrammed to give you control from the radio and to let the computer know you have this option now. Here is a picture of the kit and pieces installed. The door pieces have a metal wrapped carbon fiber around them.

That looks Nice!! So you CAN control the lights from the 8" touch screen? That would be awesome!keep us posted when you get it reprogrammed! I was wanting to do this as well! Thanks for the info.

looks good, I'd add the knee pads ,the plastic pad on the door looks cheap...

I would like to see that carbon fiber match something else on the dash… Possibly CF Hydrodip the screen surround that now is just flat plastic?

When you ordered the Dark Night package did that include the cup holder light, and a different LED for the strip on the center Dash screen? The 1SS I ordered only has white for the LED on the center screen, and No cup holder LED.

Hello. It did not come with the cup holder light. The radio after programmed with the spectrum lighting radio controls will change colors with the rest of the lighting.

I was thinking the same thing and wish they had other pieces to match. I would not want the radio done but am thinking about having the shift bezel and steering wheel trim done to match. I have a couple of friends that do the Hydrodip. Thanks

Finally after a bunch of phone calls and chats on here I went back to the dealership today and gave them the phone numbers, names and all info I had to get the Camaros BCM flashed right to get my Interior Spectrum lighting to work. After the tech made several phone calls and was told what to flash and the right file to use they work. The only thing is that the radio LED light strip does not change like the doors and footwell lighting like the factory installed 2SS System. It stays white. The only other thing I noticed but maybe I am doing something wrong I can't get the show lighting to work no matter what I try! Like most new things looks like GM has some bugs to work out with this LPO addon.

Looks good! I noticed this option on the build page online. It also lists a Structura lighting kit as well for the same cost, whatever that is.
