A couple of thoughts to add to the discussion:

Viper is Dodge flagship, yet they put more horsepower into the Hellcat.

The limiting factor on the LT4 is the small supercharger. To get the horsepower, they are spinning it to within an inch of its life. This is causing the high temperature problems. So, WHY would they put this smaller supercharger in compared to the ZR1? Because they wanted to sell it in Europe, and the Europeans have pedestrian crash standards. They had to give more room between the hood and the top of the engine to "crush". So, the crappy smaller blower. ----- The Camaro hood line is much higher than Corvette. They COULD if they wanted, put the larger blower from the ZR1 on the LT4 for the Camaro application.

Will they? Doubt it. Strongly doubt it. But, fun to talk about.

Like all you crazies, I'll be sitting on my couch hitting refresh like crazy at midnight. Better than the Grand Sport reveal when I stayed up until 4am Central because it was in Europe!!!!

2.3L S/C on the LT4 = 700hp+

Won't happen but if it did....GM could name their price.

Just because it has the ability to make that, doesn't mean that have to spool it up high enough to do it from the factory

I would say chances are very slim.

I can't believe the amount of people thinking that the video is shot through a "Flow Tie". For one, it's not even the right shape and two, why would there be an x-shape that appears attached to the corners. I think it's just a shield they made up to mount the camera behind when mounted in the front of the car to make most of you "think" it's a flow-tie. It's called deception and you've been duped

Certainly looks like a flowtie window to me. Notice the x.

People saying Flowtie has to be the most annoying term since F&F got fan boys saying NAWWSSS.....its just an emblem on a grill, and yes I like it, but refuse to say Flowtie out loud.
