It's not a supercharger... it's the straight cut gears from the transmission.

I'm not expect a dog box in the Camaro. Unless the news is of a new Camaro for GT racing or something. That would be dissapointing.

Yes. I think the ZL1 will have the flowtie, but I don't think this was shot through it. I think it was mounted in front of the grille and they added the effect in the editing room. That's just a guess.
