without NPP you have no valves to open/close so there is no sound diff in the diff modes

I am looking for WAV file for the perf exhaust for the non NPP V6......

Super Chevy's website just posted an article on the new Cold Air Inductions intake for the 16 Camaro SS.

There dyno test after the install showed an improvement of 11 horsepower and 27 ft. pounds of torque.

No tune needed.

They did the dyno pulls with the hood down, which in my opinion is more real world.

If G.M sells a tune with their intake, which by the way IS the Cold Air Inductions intake and it shows the same numbers I'd be weary.

I heard there wouldn't be a tune.

Ordered mine yesterday, they ship on the 15th.

The cai is kinda derailing the perf exhaust nature of the thread....but i'll contribute further to derailment.

If the aftermarket intake and stock have the same basic shape for the tube leading up to the box, and the box uses the same snorkel, then I'd be willing to bet that you'd get almost all of that perf hp and tq increase from swapping the stock air filter out for the K&N drop in. That is, assuming the diameter around the maf is the same and Super Chevy isn't inadvertently running leaner than they should.

You guys b the judges but video does not do it justice especially when it's driven aggressively. I love the aggressive tone and don't need it any louder.. It's perfect for me but to each there own

Let me know if there's any in cabin drone at highway speeds.. I had issues with that in another Camaro with some exhausts..

Sounds nice thus far.

My dealer installed a software in order to access the Bose active noise cancellation so no drone inside but sounds beautiful up until your at cruising speeds then it's virtually silent in the car

This hooks up to the stock exhaust system with clamps right? or are they welded?
