Driving down the main road I take to work in my 2014 2LT was a horrible experience. Much better now in my 2016, spots are still pretty bad but overall its much nicer.

With MRC the shocks can change but not the springs. It just hones the edge of the knife.

I did not get MRC. I did test drive one with it and I personally couldn't tell the difference, but it's mostly decent roads around here. Our XTS is also suppose to have MRC and while its in general softer than the camaro it's suppose to also stiffen up some when you put it in sport mode... I can't really tell.

Go to youtube and look up this old video from Motorweek when they first announced MRC. Great nostalgia too btw. They show 2 identical older Corvettes going over the same bumpy road...one has MRC and one doesn't. You can see what happens from the outside....also remember that is gen1 MRC. There wasn't a big jump from gen1 to gen2, but the current gen is supposedly a lot better.

I went with it because of the roads where I live, I will be going to Lime Rock a few times a year and it also is a huge selling point when the time comes. When the car depreciates, so do your options. There will be a ton of gen 6 Camaros on the used car market and if there's 2 identical cars - one with MRC and one without and the price was difference was negligible, I'm buying the car with the MRC.

Will it turn your car into a Cadi/Lexus... no.

Will it turn a ride from rattle the fillings in your teeth (Track) to 'this is a crappy road' (Tour) - yes.

I've got it, and we have a side street that is criss crossed by train tracks and littered with potholes. When I was deciding, a design engineer in my company took me down that street in his CTS-V showing off the two above settings. It made my choice to get it a no-brainer. For a DD it's on my list of "Must haves".

It is. The old systems used one big electromagnetic coil. The new one (gen III) uses two, smaller coils.

It's like one big turbo vs two small ones. Much faster reaction times, more accurate response to road conditions.
