Camaro 2SS what was your out the door price?

Hi,
I have been impressed with the looks of the new Camaro and am seriously thinking of getting one as a fun car. It would be my first sports car. I have been looking around at TrueCar, the Costco Car Buying program and just trying to find good information on prices. I like the red/black leather seats, dual exhaust, manual/V8 and the navigation. I think I can pick up a fully loaded 2SS without the upgraded breaks for 39k. Just wanted to see what others got for their total price.

Youll hear anything from $500 below MSRP to some people saying they got thousands off the invoice price. Take everything here with a grain of salt. If you can get the 2SS for $39k i think that is a good deal considering the military price for the 2SS is 41k.

Seeing as how a fully loaded 2ss even without brakes is around 47k i would buy that car. Thats like 8k off, but i paid 500 under msrp without my military discount for a 1ss.

Out the door price isn't an accurate indicator of the deal someone got because taxes fees and title all vary from state to state. Best price before TTL would give you a better idea.

Mine was 46085 and I got it for 43500 not including incentives so more like 42500 with conquest cash.

You're looking at a manual 2 SS with NPP and Nav right? MSRP of $44k+?

I paid 2K under MSRP. I would suggest using the true car estimate as a litmus test and negotiating from there.

Yup, Minus around $1K to invoice, and maybe another $1K on incentives puts you at $42K PLUS Tax and tags..

Your numbers aren't reasonable for a 2SS with the equipment you want.

Um...I am in CA. You're sure that's a 2SS you're lookin at? Is it used, perhaps? Does it come with the engine?? Please tell me and/or PM me the dealership name, and I'll look into this as well. If this ends up being legit, I will be making my purchase/special order from them now. And I'll send you a very special secret prize for helping me find this...

If it's not legit, I will think really mean thoughts about you for like a day and a half.

Mine had MSRP of 49,250 and I negotiated 2k off. Then I through the $1,000 offer off on top of that and got 3k total off. Then I negotiated a 24 mo lease with a .00125 money factor and 71% residual.
