I was a member of the 2/1, but bought another 1ss red hot. My 1ss I originally ordered is not at the dealership. Don't know the status, but this is why I didn't wait. I would have missed out on 2K from my gm card since it will end tomorrow.

Looks like the train that mine has been on is scheduled to start moving again today after getting repaired for nearly 3 weeks. Maybe I'll get it by the end of the week.

OMG terrible luck. But all that salt on the road is nothing but a memory, and the wait will be worth it.

Like you said, there are good things that come with the wait:

1) I can save up more money for the down payment.
2) Hopefully no more salt/snow by the time I get it.

Hey guys...for the ones of ya who don't have your cars yet I hope they get to you really soon. I've had mine two weeks today and man I just can't say enough good things about this car. It's just badass. It sounds so mean...much more of a deep growl than my 5th gen ls3. It is well worth the wait. The bose system sounds great....actually seems a little better a few days in. The car is smooth and reserved when you want it to be and an angry beast when you're ready. I'm almost 40 so I enjoy both sides. I smile every time I walk outside and see it. Please don't be discouraged. You are for an awesome experience the first time you step foot inside. Good luck and I'll keep checking for pictures especially you 63falcondude I know you're ready!

I have no doubt the car is worth the wait. Funny thing is my front facia didn't get order. It got dropped, so my dealer ordered it after the car was built, It's now here, but no car. I guess they are sending a piece at a time?

funny thing about that is that I decided I wanted a front fascia and ordered it and now they're on backorder so I guess I will just wait

I should be taking delivery in a day or so. I noticed in your sig that your car is identical to mine except I have automatic. Do you really like the red interior? I usually get black but I was asked to get red.

I wouldn't change anything about this car. I love the red and I've got tons of compliments on it. Really pops...I've always had black as well. Finishes are awesome. Hope to see pics of it soon and have fun!
