Camaro / Stingray
In the market to purchase a new stingray or Camaro. I have pretty much decided to most likely go Camaro six because of all the issues I have read about over the last couple years about the stingray. But now I see this section has grown tremendously recently with a lot of people upset and angry.
Kind of on the fence now about either car What do you all think |

Yeah that's also true. I've sold my beloved prerunner and took a normal sized big loss on those and would hate to have some of the catastrophic issues I have seen on my new purchase.

I've moved those posts to this thread.
GDAGR8....it's worth noting that by asking this question in the issues section...you might get a skewed response... |

The majority of us here love their cars and have had no problems, including myself!

Some problems are ok. Especially out of an all new car so early in the run. But there are way too many severe issues with this car. I wouldn't even considered getting another one after all my issues. I hate this car!!!

Only advice I can give is try to make sure the selling dealership is worth a damn. No way to tell for sure but if there are issues with the car you better hope they will stand by it. And even with that there is zero guarantee GM will stand behind their product. If GM stood behind it's product we wouldn't have to update posts with the complete lack of give a damn about the disaster that is our car. GM has no one to blame but themselves. Not bashing, just the 100% truth of our situation

No major issues with ours. We have the "disappearing lighting and driving mode options" when we remote start, but that's it. 2400 miles and two trips to the track running it hard and nothing to complain about.

I will say that i absolutely loved my camaro for the week i had it, everything worked find and the only issue i had noticed was the NPP exhaust rattle occasionally. I had freak bad luck and the dealer seized my motor. Even so GM is installing a new crate motor and i am anxiously waiting to get my car back. I think if you go for the camaro just do a thorough check on the one you buy and you should be fine. Sometimes things happen and i wont fault GM for that, i will say others have had far worse experiences then me though.

Oh not even close. Another member here seemed like he had hardly any issues getting his car replaced. He had significant defects in his mosaic black metallic paint but nothing as bad as ours. GM is giving us the impression at this point they don't want to do anything other than spray some paint on the car and for us to go away. The whole situation is pathetic.
