***Redline Motorsports 2016 Twin Turbo 427 Dyno Report***
Finally had enough testing on the stock motor with our GEN6 Camaro Twin Turbo system that we decided to drop in the 427 that has patiently been waiting to step in. The turbo's we selected, and used on the base R&D system where intended for this larger and more robust engine so we have been able to take advantage of there breathing potential. This was on 11 lbs of boost for break in.
Should be interesting at the track next week! |

So you guys swapped an LS motor into the '16. I'm kind of curious why not use the LT4? I understand you have more displacement in a 7 liter motor but that is the beauty of forced induction, you can pump more air in a smaller motor and make the same power. Any comments on the thought process?

If it is not a company secret I'm wondering about compression ratio and boost also on that run?

If you don't mind me asking, have you made any fuel pump/injector upgrades to go over 800 or is it basically stock?

Stock injectors but bigger high pressure pump as well as the lift pump. A lot is also in the injection timing calibration as well.

I'm a little surprised about the stock injectors but glad to hear it. I'm guessing you will upgrade the injectors before you are done modding this beast.

We also have a supplement system when we run out so we have enough fuel for 1500 HP if needed. |

Interesting, over 800 whp on the stock injectors. Thanks for the update. Glad you guys are pioneering some of this stuff.

You can pump air into a smaller motor and make more power, You can also pump more air into a larger motor and make more power. There's no replacement for displacement. |
