Because my previous springs on my 2014 made the car very stiff and not handle that much better. I don't feel a difference in ride quality with these springs between lowered and stock. However you will instantly notice a difference in hadling. That is not my review, I will make a seperate thread in the suspension section with pictures.

I'd like to know the fix so I'll know what to look for when we install next Wednesday.

It is not a problem. The shop i went to did not tighten the top strut mount nut enough and it was clunking. You have to keep the center shaft from spinning with a star tool and tighten the strut mount. The third shop i went to did this and aligned the car and everything is perfect now.

I am very happy to hear that the issue was due to the installation. I will have to finish up the installation video I have so that way there is sort of check list for some installers.

Thanks for the update!! This had me thinking all weekend about what the issue could be. Now I can rest easy.

Looks like a great set of linear springs 1.5 drop, 12 to 15% stiffer seems just about right. At 20% might be getting too stiff for me. Maybe for oldmen it should be 1.0 drop 12 to 15%, I'm sure there would be not many takers.

Once again glad to see a real set of linear performance springs.

Man I can't wait, this 4wd look just isn't for me. That's a good testament for Phastek and the rest that follow. I loved my lowered 15, the bmr's were kind of a rough ride. Mine are on the UPS truck for tomorrow, I'm off tm and Tuesday so I won't get them on till Wednesday or Thursday depending how busy we are at the shop. So then we'll have a white, black and my red 1ss as the first to lower the 16 ss, unless you include GM.

Car is quoted at 444 HP & torque and you only got 370??? Is it normal to lose 70 HP from engine to wheels?

Didn't think about that, we are the first consumers to lower a 16. Unless somebody cut their springs or something lol. That is kind of cool

I was the first to lower a g8 also. I got the first set of Eibachs. You beat me this time. Congrats and glad you love them. Do you think the ride is any stiffer or about the same.

Don't notice it when cruising, however it is more solid in the turns.
