Totally understand and also do like the look of your cap covered. Taste is subjective as usual and i personally like the detail to the GM one i ordered off the seller. Will it look good? I will soon find out but have my hopes lol

Interested to find out your take on it. I've been looking at this fuel door as well. Hoping the quality is good.

I'll be the guinea pig and let you all know the outcome. I did message the seller to in fact make sure it fits the 2016 Camaro's and did notice a positive feedback on someone else who bought the same one recent. Also the seller has more new ones from that i can tell as he just listed another after i won the bid on the last for $80. Seems like a lot for a cap but i guess i will have to see it in person. Sure looks similar as much as i can see from pics to the SEMA cap. Made by GM it says but still not seen the part number or same one anywhere else online yet.

I'm with you. I want the Camaro logo one. Good to know I can get one, but 130 seemed steep. But it looks good.

Today the fuel cap came in. Perfect fit just snapped right in and to tell you the truth it looks way better in person then on Ebay Real carbon fiber inserts and seems to be a genuine GM product. It is raining out so i couldn't get the picture from the side like i would like to until tomorrow. Got to say i am loving the look!!!

So does this fit over the factory fuel door or replace it? Any pics of how it mounts?

It replaces the fuel door totally, Sorry for not explaining more into detail, the rain has been a pain with my taking pictures as my garage is a bit tight. There is a video on YouTube i seen on how to replace the fuel door on. The Camaro in the video link here has the same type of install on the 2016's minus the Lock mechanism part of the video.

Looks great, wonder if it would fit on a Gen 5?

in another thread, keon, you said it was an official GM product, did it have a part number on it, by chance? and if so, what was it?

My dealer said those parts aren't available from GM yet. But that looks great on your car. I'm definitively putting one on my car.

I'm aware of that, but he stated that the seller claims they are genuine GM parts, and on the pics of it it looked like it had some numbers stamped on it. PN perhaps?
