Visibility Problem?

Having never owned a camaro all I heard was how bad the visibility was on the car. I have to tell you that unless I am missing something I see no issue. I am 5 11 so I guess it may have something to do with taller folks but as for myself I am happy to report that it is NOT an issue.

Thi5s is my first camaro and i have had two problems with visibility but not enough for me to care or complain.
1. Cannot see stop light if first in line, you have to bend down to look.
2. When making a uturn or turn from a light, it is hard to see the median, you have to sit up and look.

After having several vets, a g8gt, 15 ss and now a 16 ss I guess I just don't have any issues with seeing out of the windows. All good for me.

It's over exaggerated. When a car is so good...people have to find something to criticize, I guess....

Last time I learned to drive a car...there was never any requirement to look up or down like I was in flight, so I don't consider the low roofline a visibility issue....

And thanks to B pillars that are so far back, and mirrors that have the ability to adjust and eliminate blind spots around a short vehicle...I've never ever had a problem, either.

And for 2016, they shrunk the A-pillars to improve forward visibility.

It still is a little difficult to see traffic lights when you are first in line but luckily in CA they have one that is lower and you don't have to look at the over head one.

I'm 5'10" and I have no issues. The car takes getting adjusted to depending on what you've been driving before the Camaro. I routinely look over my shoulder in both directions when changing lanes on the highway and that's a little more challenging in the Camaro but not impossible.

It's a huge exaggeration. It takes all of maybe five days to get settled with the sight lines of the car.

The thing is... It's a coupe. No one should expect massive amounts of visibility out of it. It's not a sedan, it's not a grand coupe, it's not a truck. Meanwhile, you can still drive it no problems. You get used it really fast. I've never owned a coupe before and it took me a whole 30 minutes of driving to get used it. Plus, If you have gotten the 2SS(or 2LT with blind spot monitor), it makes it even easier.

Like its been stated, 1st in line at a light is a little rough then depending on what you drove before it can take some adjustments. I have a lifted crewcab silverado and my wife has a expedition el so when we drive the camaro its like being in a different country! Being 6'3" doesn't help either!

If anyone is having problems with blind spots this car and driver article on how to adjust mirrors to eliminate blind spots may be helpful. Found this shortly after I got my Gen 5. Helped quite a bit.

I find looking up through my sunroof helpful when I am first in line at a light, lol.

After having 3 5th Gens, I have no issues but I have to say the blind side indicators are more helpful than I would have guessed.

The only serious visibility problems I have had in my 5th gen is when you are yielding at a 45 degree angle with the road. When I lived in Dallas, a lot of the highway access roads had designated u-turn lanes that avoided traffic lights. It was pretty much impossible to know if cars were coming without having someone in the passengers seat telling you. However this is the only issue I had. You get used to the visibility quickly. I imagine the 6th gen is the same.
