Does anyone know how much RWHP the new 16ss can handle safely without upgrading the trans? Looking to do a procharger and it should get to 580-620RWHP but wanna make sure that's safe I have the M6 2SS..my 2010 Camaro had 615RWHP and with 19k miles and now the trans went that's why I'm asking thx....

He's asking how much the factory drivetrain can handle not how much power they put down stock

if anyone knows I have a related question.

how much hp can the stock fuel system support? how much hp can the stock lt4 fuel system support? does the fuel system from the lt4 just bolt on to the lt1? at what point do you need a larger intank pump?

do these cars have a lsd or just some kind of traction control?

my very limited understanding which may be incorrect is the fireball Camaro has a stock transmission including the tq converter and the video shows that car into the 9's.

Florida Speed and Power can help you with the fuel question. They have found all the limits in those areas with the LT1 Vette.

i believe chevrolet.com has HP & TQ specs for various transmissions they sell through the parts store.

There is more to consider when you mod a car such as this one. Not only the tranny specs but the factory clutch (M6) will only hold so much till it starts to slip or goes out or both.

Also, i dont know the specs on the stock drive shaft, as i am still waiting to take delivery of mine but you are a brave soul to push that kind of TQ on a factory DS, Especially if its a 2-piece shaft like the mustang.
