Hello Becky, would it be possible to see what my order status is TGDDRC thank you for your assistance if possible...also question for anyone...I thought I read somewhere but have been unable to find it that order code 2000 is accepted by Chevy, does that mean the car is now allocated to the dealer or for the build or just that the order was accepted. I don't believe my dealer has an allocation right now so just curious. Thanks again for any help you can give

Same boat here. The dreaded 1100 status. The part knowing that your order hasn't even been conceived yet. The car is not yet even an idea in Chevy's universe. It's just a tiny thought sitting in a remote car dealership with no allocation. In my case not even knowing if there are 20 cars ahead of mine waiting to be allocated 1st.

Sad times my friend.

To answer your question, 2000 = both, allocated & accepted, (According to the tiny bit of info I've gathered so far).

I went back to my dealership and spoke to him eyeball to eyeball and got him to admit he didn't have an allocation. I have emails where he indicated he did and the workbench thingy that I thought was proof he was on the up and up.

Weird set of circumstances, but they took my Corvette on trade gave me a check for equity, and now I don't know what happens to my deposit if I cancel out or the sales tax credit for my trade. Do you have any thoughts?

I'm in the market for a Camaro incidentally.

Thanks for all your help, Becky. Without your honest expertise, I would be sitting for months perhaps without status moving.

That sucks, Jerry I'm starting to think it is the same for me. The sales people I'm dealing with either have no clue or feign ignorance. They told me the order cycle is Monday to Monday. The dealership owner is the only one authorized to order, check orders, or talk to regional or GM corporate and he is at work less than 2 1/2 days a week.

Q to Becky, Is there anyway to verify a particular dealer has an allocation spot for a particular vehicle?

Edit: While I'm here : Becky pls check TFJTCQ. I expect it to still be 1100 but who knows. Thanks!

Hi Becky

Well after thinking real hard, test driving a 6th Gen V-6 Camaro, watching the "How It's Made Dream Cars - Camaro" edition, and of course talking to Ofer. I have decided to trade in my Pre-Order 5th Gen Camaro 2LT/RS for a 6th Gen Camaro 2SS/RS. As of last Thursday my dealership out here in El Centro California has told me that my car is at 3000. I asked him if there was a way that I could be informed when the status of the car changed and of course he told me no. My order number is "TFVP6S". A 2SS/RS, G7E, H16. On ordering my dealerships said they had 5 Allocations.
