Steering pull in both directions

I just got my car two days ago and I am loving it! However it seems like the steering is pulling to either side and there is a road noise coming from one of the tires. Does this sound like something an alignment would cure? Would an alignment be covered under warranty on a two day old car? Anyone else experiencing this?

After reading into it a little I reckon this could be the nature of wide 20in rims. This is the first car I've owned with 20's.

Well, it's not the 20" wheels but its the 245 wide tires.

Now, the car will "track" more obviously than some of your past cars and that could take some time getting used to. Drive it on a known good road without wheel lanes (the indentation on the road) and see what happens. It should slightly pull to the right.

Cars should not pull to the right.

Yes, they should. It should be built in to SLIGHTLY pull to the right. You can have it adjusted when you get an alignment though and most do.

They do that for safety reasons. Im talking about a VERY VERY VERY slight pull. You likely wont ever even notice it.

News to me. Thought that was a rumor.

Friend has worked at the best alignment shop here in town. They get a lot of complaints from people when they get the alignment done with it pulling so slow to the right. If they want it straight, gotta ask for it.

On a crowned road, your car will eventually move to the right.

Mine does not pull in either direction, drives perfectly straight. Try it in the track mode. It could also have a low tire. We have customers come in all the time thinking their alignment is out but its sometimes a low tires. If your is pulling in both directions that could be the road your driving on. GM has had some rack and pinion issue on the new Camaro also, remember its electric steering, no PS pump in these cars.

Tire pressure is the first thing I looked at. All in range. There are a lot of semi trucks on i71, thats where I noticed it pull. Could just be the road. The road noise is what caught my attention more than anything, but like I said this could just be the nature of large rims and low profile tires. Haven't driven a car like this in ten years.
