New owner with some questions

So, I finally found the Camaro (Black 2ss with MRC, NPP, A8, adrenaline red interior) I wanted and picked it up Saturday. The dealer I purchased it from, it was their only 2016 so they were fairly clueless about anything to do with it, so here are my questions:

Auto dimming rearview mirror, does the Camaro really not have one? Or am I just missing something....(Along the same lines, why does his mirror buttons light up in his picture? Is it a different mirror? http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=440419)

I read in the intro guide something about an air compressor with sealant under the trunk mat...I didn't see anything in there. Did GM forget to give me mine or something?

Does anyone have any pictures of how the rear license plate attaches? Mine did not have any pre-drilled hole and my dealer was too scared to drill them. The only thing that came with the car was the screws...but I would think there has to be some anchors for those to attach to...

Blind spot monitoring...I spent 7 hours driving through the rain today...and I have realized that apparently rain can set off the blind spot alert...A LOT. Which gets quite annoying to the point that I turned it off for a while. Anyone else have this issue?

No idea about the mirror,
there is no compressor/sealant, because you have run flats
the license plate attachment is a travesty, buy a attachment kit from Amazon,
and yes rain affects the blind spot

Something is wrong with rain setting off blind spot. It does not do this EVER on my wife's impala. My camaro has this problem too. Very annoying.

Not sure on 1SS but I have it on my 2SS.

Side mirrors are also auto dimming on 2SS.

I was so annoyed with how bright the lights were when I was driving at night...maybe it's because I am used to having tinted windows too...but I swear it seemed like it wasn't dimming at all. Do the buttons on your mirror light up light in the thread I linked? Maybe my mirror is broken... :/

Sounds like your mirror is broken if yours doesn't have the lights like the one in the picture. Mine certainly has the 3 lights (onstar, emergency and some other option I can't recall off the top of my head. If yours doesn't show those AND isn't dimming, there's an issue with it.

I really only see attachment kits for the front...I need the rear. Am I going to have to drill holes? I think I am going to my local dealer this week to inspect the other 2016s and see how they are attached...

CamaroATL, thanks for the info. I will bring that up when I go to the dealer this week.

There should be a bunch of dimple holes, or drill guides. Once you drill through and put in 4 screws, it is fine. I was worried but it really is fine.

No anchors?? Just screws through the bumper?

Here's the problem with screws right through the bumper. It's not a problem until you need to take them in and out , continually after a couple years , you're going to destroy the very skinny threads that are actually holding them in… Much better to use the anchor that is threaded. Drill 3/8 in hole, snap/Pop them in place and screw into them ....See the link I put up , they work perfect

Yes just 2 screws right in to the bumper at the appropriate spots. The bumper is reinforced correctly at the screw locations.
