I think, like several of us that have asked, he's confused at how it's costing 5,000.00 to install a mostly bolt-on supercharger.

They don't normally run anywhere near that much to install, so we're all wondering what else is going in. For me, I'm looking at ProCharger myself and yours is the 1st going in, so naturally I'm curious about what it'll make, what it takes and what it costs.

Outside of the labor to install, the fluids, etc. we're just curious. I don't think anyone is trying to take personal digs at you.

I don't think anyone was taking any shots at me either. When I can, I will upload the price sheet. Can I install the hardware on my own? Bet your ass. But I have a business to run and people to take care of which necessitates I have other people do things for me sometimes. I think long-term - the needs of the people that put food on my table outweigh my desire to start turning wrenches for my own project. When my business was slower, say 4 to 7 years ago, I would've done this myself, but then again I couldn't have afforded to back then!

Also, it is important for me to have it dyno tuned and dialed in for my specific engine. And at the end of the day, the installation might be less than quoted - the shop hasn't done the 6th gen Camaro kit yet.

As more information is available to me, it'll get posted. I'm hoping to have it back by next weekend!

Hell yeah dude! You weren't kidding when you told me a while ago about the surprise plans!

LMR (Late Model Racecraft) is going to be doing an introductory rate for ALL procharger installs. LIMITED run. The Shop is located @ Houston, TX. I am not going to steal their thunder, just a tease :P. I was told it was submitted to the main page of this website so they will post it soon enough and LMR will be making a thread shortly!

Looking forward to your dyno numbers!!! Don't keep us hanging and post em asap when you get em!

VERY true. You can install this in your own garage on a weekend. It will come with a tune with a tuner device so you can slap on the canned tune on it! My suggestion is to use that canned tune and have a real legit tuner tweak it a bit more for your car as every car is different

I went the DIY kind of kit for my Challenger. I was very happy with the kit as it stood and it gave me plenty of time to work on the supporting mods: headers, ex, heads, cams, tb, high stall, gears, DR, suspension, brakes. LOL it is a hobby after all. I've progressed far pass the "kit", my own tanks: coolant, P/S, CAI, cooling ducts for the hood.

I interested in your results. I think you will be having fun. I would suggest a highly accurate A/F gauge with data log. IMO you can't depend on factory stuff.

I have a Trinity, I use a Hondata for my Supercharged Civic 2015, and I have an AEM-8 piggy back, as well as an Infinity.

My current project involves prepping my 1998 Type R for a direct inject K20 turbo from a soon to be totaled 2017 Type R. My thinking one will come on the market about 1 week after the first one is sold in the USofA. LOL

It gonna be a serious ride for sure and prochargers just have a killer sound. It should put down 575 or so.

I'm close to Columbia and plan to be in Wichata for the power tour and then to KC. The same weekend we are also going to Super Chevy at Topeka. Lets all get together at one of the drag strips.

Here are the most recent pics I have received from my install. Just for clarification, final retail cost on my kit, with the helical gearset and black finish is $6448.00.
