How long will your tires last?

How long do you think your stock 2SS tires will last before you have to replace them? Regular driving, no track days.

Hard to tell. These are brand new tires that haven't been on a car before let alone a Camaro. Only time will tell at this point.

I am hoping at least 30k without beating on them for my SS GY tires.

Talking to my son about similar Goodyear tires, considering the mileage I got out of my two sets of Pirellis on my gen 5, and knowing what I know about manufacturing of OE high performance tires, I'm planning on 12-15,000. If you do mostly highway driving and don't drive the car hard you could probably double that.

My last set of GY Eagle F1s on my '98 SS got really good mileage, sold it with around 20k, tires still had at least 10 - 15k. I had fun with that car, didn't beat on it, but rode is hard on occassion. I am expecting similiar mileage from these GYs.

I hope your right. Drove my Gen 5 pretty easy, a lot of city miles. Got 9,000 miles out of the second set of Pirellis,16,000 out of the first set. I knew I was going to be selling it when I put the last set on so I put Nittos on it. Drove them about 8K and still had about 70% tread life.
The same Pirellis I only got 9K out of some got 40K, they were driving 90% highway miles.
High performance tires like these the mileage people will get is going to be all over the charts especially when you look at different parts of the country.
My son still works in the tire business he tells me the Goodyear Eagle F1 run flats are great tires, not many miles out of them.
I don't know exactly which Goodyear Eagle F1 you had on your 98 I assume not this exact same tire.

I don't care for Pirellis, most of their tires get crappy reviews. My GYs were Eagle F1's, the original F1's, not run flats. They were quite a bit different, but also kind of similiar to these A3s. The only set of GYs I did not like were the Eagle RSAs, horrible mileage on them and not to cheap either. Had them on my 1st Cadillac CTS, wore horribly.

I think the average of these tires should be 20-30k miles. Will be interesting to find out because this car is lighter but has more power. I do have to say they hook up really well.
