New Car Left Halo not working

While driving home from the dealership, my brother noticed that my left halo day-light was not on. Once we got in the garage we checked it out and attempted all light modes with the car and the left halo light just wont turn on!
I called the dealer right away which simply wants me to bring it back.

Anyone else experience this issue? is this something simple where i could check it out myself and fix it? I'll bring it back to the dealer once the weather gets better.

I believe you are THE first with this issue. I haven't seen or heard it before via camaro channels. First model problems :/. At least we got warranty haha. They will just order a new headlight for you and take care of it under full warranty.

Just a heads up, I wouldn't leave my car there. Just drive to the dealership to have them look at it, then diagnose the issue and order a new set of headlights. Drive it back to the dealership when the part arrives and get it installed whenever the part arrives and you schedule it.


I will ONLY leave my car at ANY place if it doesn't run or no one can just drive it without messing up the work. Like leaving it to get painted... It has to sit there and dry/cure :P. Not risking some jackass go on a joyride.

Mine had to be replaced when the dealership noticed it wasn't working on delivery, before I even took possession of it.

So after more than a week, i finally brought my Car in on a Friday.
And after an hour, the guy comes back to me saying "It still won't turn on even with the new ordered light!" I was then told to leave my brand new car there that Friday as it would not be touched until Monday since they were fully booked on schedules.

I then picked it up on the next Tuesday and they got it to work and also did an ECP coating on my Car. So far so good. but honestly from the start the whole process on buying my new car with my dealers been a disaster! tons of people telling me to return it for good some how. I just have a lot of patience.... = /

Or the guy whose new camaro was left outside at the dealer---over a weekend collecting tons of bird shiiit and the subsequent permanent staining of the paint followed by horrid buff marks from improper dealer-detailing. Dings are also a possibility, water spotting etc.

I would never leave anything we own at a dealership overnight. If I have too I have always been on good enough terms (and know service writers done mind being slipped a $20) to request the car be kept inside and they have always done that.
