My dealer extends GM warranty to 100,000. But only applies to their service dept.

So do those extended warrantys start when you purchased or after the 3/36 runs out? If it starts when you purchased then it's a rip off. I always buy one from my credit union at half the price for the same coverage.

Two warranty's

Allstate Tire and rims warranty 5 years 500.00 and Bumper to bumper and gap 2200.00 72 month / 75000 because I hardly drive my personal cars so I opted for 72 month instead of the 100000/60 month

Last edited by Teacee; 02-15-2016 at 08:59 AM. Reason: Forgot to add the gap insurance

I added additional GM Total for 2 years and 20,000km (12,500Miles) for $1700CDN. ($1200USD)
I have a 60month / 80,000km (50,000miles)

Does not seem like that great a deal.

I forget the exact terms but it's a GM extended bumper to bumper warranty so it is valid at any chevy dealer. It + gap insurance cost me just under 3k total. I believe the gap insurance was about 800 or so.

I did. Considering cancelling it. Seems like a rip off.

My insurance covers me till 100k miles.. Not bumper to bumper, just the tranny/engine/ect..

I'd be willing to do some sort of bumper to bumper though

I'm only getting one if they will honor it for the kinds of motorsports I do...which isn't really that much.

-8-12 Autocross events a year.
-1-4 Full track lapping sessions.
-NO drag racing (I just don't do it).

I bought a 5 year 75k mi extended warranty in 2011. But now I think I will just go with the standard warranty when I get my 16, but buy an aftermarket warranty when I get close to the end of the standard warranty. I must have gotten 10 different offers from companys selling warranties when I got up to my 3rd year of ownership. I probably will again.
