Newbi Getting SS2

Hello, I been reading these forums for the past week as I anxiously await to get back from vacation next week and get my new 2016 Jet Black Automatic SS2 with NPP, Sunroof, Black 20 inch wheels, blacked out bowties.

I live in PA so not sure when I will get a chance to actually drive it home due to the weather, but I will as soon as I can. Cant wait!!

I have a wife that is 5ft 2 and two daughters ages 7 and 9.

How do you think they will fit in the back seat? I am 6ft 1. main reason for buying this instead of a Corvette is I can haul the whole family around. I know it may not be comfy for a long road trip but driving around town or getting ice-cream ? What do you guys think?

Any experience here?

One of your daughters might be cramped back there depending on how big they are. I'm only 5'6", my wife is 4'11", I have kids ages 14 and 12 both slender and we all fit fine. If you're 6'1" the child sitting behind you will be cramped for space depending on how far forward or back you have the drivers seat. We just got done with a road trip from the Inland Empire here in SoCal to San Diego and we were all comfortable.

Both of my daughters are skinny..I don't like my seat far back anyway. Hope to give them a little room

Beautiful car. Tint it, remove the chicklets and they would be twins.

Your story sounds very familiar to mine. Except my 2SS is Mosaic Black A8, NPP, MRC and black bow ties. I'm 6'-1" and have two kids 10 and 7. I too went with the Camaro so that we could go out together. I got my car Dec 23rd so have only drove it a couple times before putting away for the winter, but the two trips we took as a family, no problem. Kids have no issue with back seats and don't think they will for a few years. By that time they won't want to hang out with me anyways. Enjoy.

Do you mind me asking how was your leg room after putting your daughter in the back seat? Also what was her leg room like?

No problem what's so ever. I keep my seat the in same position. I found that she fit better then my younger guy. With him sitting properly his feet couldn't under the front seat, they hung a bit and would hit the back of the seat.
