Trust me, Ive had my share of cars/trucks with custom work, but this for one would not make my list. If they post a pic of work, they need to take the good with the bad comments as well. I always respect work, but the taste of this work is not very tasteful.

Looks like an old man trying to relive his past with those paint and graphics , are they going to add drum brakes also. Thing is ugly and they will not relive there past glory wth that thing or any of the people that think it will. Yuk

No , I was being kind . Drive that eyesore to your cruise spot or try and drive it daily. Show up to street race in that billboard and people will laugh and tell you what they really think. Omg wtf ? Installing a 427 in an early Camaro when nobody else was doing it with a warranty might've been cutting edge in 1967 , but wheels tires and stickers and some bolt on goodies and living on the past are Not going to do it now. Sales will tell the story.

That's how you take a new model year vehicle and make it look like one that's been out for 20 years, and not in a good way. The craftsmanship looks pretty good, just needs a "younger" designer's mind to make the car popular "today" not yesteryear.
Look at today's designers, we pull from the heritage of the brand but with modern features.....example; a 2016 Camaro compared to a 1969 Camaro, if GM kept replicating the same style every year, they would be dead.
Forward vision is everything my man...........
Good Luck

We appreciate everyone's opinion. Not for everybody but doesn't need to be. The nice part about NicKey is we will build your car your way and that is how we built this one. Very happy not everyone wants one built this way. Again thank you for taking the time for sharing your opinion good, bad or indifferent.

Thank you,

Dennis

I personally like how you think your one off opinion is fact.

Here's something that isn't an opinion. Looks are subjective.

Also, These are low production/built to order. Not sure where you're going with "Sales will tell the story" considering every single one they build will sell.

If You have some attachment to this ugly car that's cool buy it and party on. your right looks are subjective and we could agree to disagree . that's why I said take it to your local cruise night or street race and people will tell you what they think. I'm a car guy in the car world on the west coast and that thing looks yuk to me, the wheels are totally wrong lip/bs and so many other things. But thats just me.
That car is no different than the dealer that puts the "Limited Edition" decal on a camry and yes they sell every one because they can roll all the junk into the financing but they are worth nothing in the long run. We have a popular company called galpin or GAS galpin auto sports in ca. They do all the same high mark up one off stuff that the 1% buy and loose there a** on resale. All there cars are custom one offs that are worth nothing more than if me or you did the mod ourselves and saved 100% mark up. That Retro orange camaro will sell but they sell everything eventually . You can't find a new Yugo on the lots so yes they sold everyone they made but I would not consider that a success. Lol

NicKey Super Camaro #001

NicKey Super Camaro #001.

How boring life would be if we all drove the same cookie cutter type of cars, that looked and sounded the same.

NicKey Performance is first and foremost a "performance" shop. We have been building complete turn key niche vehicles which perform on many levels, for many years.

This is not how every 6th Generation NicKey Camaro will look. This happens to be build number one and is being built per customer specs.

My opinion is that Hugger Orange looks great on a 6th gen. However, the vast majority of modern Camaros we build, do not get custom paint jobs and hand painted graphics, by a renowned artist and Brushmaster.

Stop by and see it in person, along with a host of other 6th gens and modern Muscle at the Chicago Auto Show.
