Dam that 1LE in black looks so sexy! Anyone know pricing for a 2016 2SS with the 1LE package?

My guess is this car might cost as much as the 5th Gen ZL1 (55kish), that's okay as long as it can beat it around a track like many people think it will.

No such thing as a 2SS with 1LE this gen. 1LE is only available on the 1SS.

Dang the paint on that black SS is already full of swirls! Come on GM at least wax it before you show it!

Hate to sound negative, but am I the only one not happy with this particular green color? it looks too pale, too "pastel"-ish... it just doesn't fit the aggressive car theme in my opinion.. maybe if it was a more saturated green, like a lime green, I would be drooling over it.

other than that, damn sexy! im actually more thrilled to see how the v6 1LE does on the track than the SS; I want to see how far the v6's tech has come along compared to its last gen v6 and v8 brothers

I hope the SS 1LE hasn't been detailed since shipping and moving around the floor. If so, GM needs to hire new detailers...

I say do that to the front 3/4 image.

Black

There is no doubt black is awesome. For about 2 months and then every scratch in the clear coat jumps out and looks terrible. I couldn't even look at the car. All that was catching my eye was how beat the finish is.

Had one black car. Hated it after a few months. Try washing it in the sun in the summer without the water leaving deposit marks.

My favorite was the black absorbed so much heat that a fresh bird turd would sizzle on it when it hit. Talk about a smell you always want to forget.

Never again..

Light colors from now on. My cyber grey is about as dark as I would go.

Thinking about the white 2016 camaro... Saving my money now.

Because the majority of the planet likes it maybe? I think it looks better then leather, it holds you in place better then leather, and it isn't as hot in the summer as leather...win, win, win.

It's suede, not velvet, maybe you are getting the two mixed up? The sides of the seats are leather by the way...

I'm assuming the tires have shorter sidewalls causing the gap? yeah...the gap needs to go away, but for me, the drop that chrisvr6 applied is too much drop...there still needs to be space between the tires and the wheel wells.

Otherwise...love this car.

Those wheels....oh my. ME WANT.

I have already contacted three repro wheel makers about this wheel. Make it happen!

EDIT: Created poll thread on 1LE replica wheels. Check it out!

If you were seeing every scratch in the clear coat that tells me it wasn't properly cared for. That shouldn't happen unless it is not being detailed correctly. With all the ceramic coatings, and similar solutions you can get now a days, it makes even taking care of black MUCH easier. The car in the pictures looks like that as it seems it just hasn't been detailed yet. Those are hand prints and crap from the car being shuffled around. It's the same car from the press photos where it looks spotless. Black is more work, but worth the effort when as it looks fantastic when detailed. Also, white has other issues. As dark items that don't show up on black cars show up easily. Wash a white car, and drive a few miles and then go look at the back bumper, it will be dirty already. Bugs and road grime show up easily on the front bumper and behind the tires too. I own a black, white and red car now, they all have their hard and easy points with care and upkeep...
