LT and SS 1LE Price Speculation
So... a LT and SS 1LE. The additional upgrades feel about right, but at what cost are they worth it?
Wider tires, new brakes, splitter, deck lid spoiler, suspension, Recaro seats, rims, leather rear seats, manual only.... What do you think it will cost? My guess: LT (1LT or 2LT): $33,500 - $37,500 SS: $44,500

Total speculation, but I'm thinking the V8 1LE package will be around $7k. I really hope I'm wrong and it is closer to $5k but we'll see. Any time frame on an announcement of the price?

I expect the SS 1LE option to be around $6,500. That's a long list of standard features, including some expensive ones. The Z51 from the Corvette is $5,000 and doesn't come with NPP or Recaros.

I think Bhobbs is pretty spot on. I will go with 6 to 6500 for the SS 1LE

If you price out a 1SS on the Chevy site with MRC, 6-pot brake kit, and NPP the price comes in at $43,060.
As close as I can figure, here are the 1LE upgrades from there: * ELSD * Wheels/tire upgrade * Recaros * Splitter/diffuser * Suspension and cooling upgrades * Hood/mirror wraps and spoiler * Suede accents If the package comes in under $5K more compared to the priced out 1SS above I will be pleasantly surprised. I'm guessing $48K total. The optional PDR (if navi is also packaged as with the Vette) will probably be around $1700. With the 1LE being track focused, it may be a stand alone option, however. Maybe a $1000? Edit: I know $48K seems high, but that's a LOT of goodies. Anything around $46K would be one hell of a deal. |

NPP was made a part of the Z51 package in 2015.

I'm gonna say $5500 for the 1LE package on the 1SS.

Really? I didn't know that. How much did the price increase?
I still feel like it will be north of $6k. Way too much expensive stuff over the $3,500 5th gen package to not get a lot more expensive.

MRC is not standard on the Vette, however. For comparison purposes, that's $1695.

at least $5000 and here's why I think so:
Chevy is giving the buyers the option of either putting $5k into a raw performance beast great for the track or $5k into a comfy luxury muscle car great for daily driving. offering the 1LE on the 2SS would make it far out of reach at over $50,000, which would mean fewer sales overall, and also a heavier car, which would lower its track performance when compared to the 1SS. Its pretty smart in my opinion to keep it on the 1SS... keep it a performance only no frills car now as for the LT, is it only for the 1LT or also the 2LT? I honestly don't see it being a problem being on both.

There are plenty of frills on this car. MRC, NPP, powered Recaros, radio, A/C, HUD and leather rear seats. Even the light show is available.

I think 42 (wishful) to 45K for a 1LE.

I would imagine that they can keep the 1LE under $6000 maybe $5000. People seem to forget that for the most part each new 1LE part replaces an SS part that was never installed in the first place on the line. So you're really looking at how much more does the 1LE part cost over the equivalent SS part it replaces. This is at GM's cost which is nowhere near the cost of the retail option for upgrading the SS after the fact. Keeping the package tightly confined in terms of add-ons helps as well. GM was still making plenty of profit offering the 1LE option on the 5th Gen at $3500 and they'll continue to do so with whatever the 6th Gen 1LE comes in at.
