From what I read, it is in addition to whatever points you have. Yes, spend 750 get 1500. Not sure about the educators offer.

It could be a targeted offer. I haven't used my GM card in over a year, and got this same offer yesterday. I quit using it because I hit my limit on what I think they will let me use for a Camaro. Use to be $1500. Otherwise this is a pretty good offer. And it is legit.

Thank you. I was beginning to worry. Nobody else saw this. Yes, I think you are right with it being targeted. Pretty good deal. If you had $1500 in points you could get another $1500. Too bad I can't use it. Ad says 4/1 to 6/30 for redemption.

The GM Extended Family card is for use with the supplier discount

Looks like a narrow targeted offer for the bonus earnings

Any chance new card owners could take advantage of this, or is it likely only for current card members? Is the bonus offer being given to those with the Friend and Family card too?

I have the old GM card, and the new BuyPower card...transitioning because they changed the earnings program....

This sounds like a cool deal if you're eligible.

From what I'm reading, if you spend say $500, then you get $1000 on top of that, so that's $1500 off a car!
