Angry Skip shift everytime! -.-

Im starting to think that 2nd and 3rd don't exist. Seriously and extremely irritating, especially up hill. Even when i rev past 2grand it still locks me out! WHAT CAN I DO TO GET RID OF THIS STUPID FEATURE!

Are you revving high enough? Forgive me but my cobalt sstc clutch grabs great at around 3.5k for daily driving. Is 2k enough, maybe you're driving too conservatively?

you'll have to wait for a CAGS device to come out to shut it off or see if any of the existing ones work on this car. That or tune it out if you aren't worried about warranty.

When I first got my 2002 Z28, this used to drive me insane! You'll love it when you finally get it shut off.

In my gen 4's if I wanted to avoid the 1-4 lockout I simply moved the shifter to the right (like I was shifting to 5th) and then moved the shifter back to 2nd.

I also just shifted from 1st to 3rd under mild driving conditions. Even did this after I pulled the wire from the cpu.

Edit: the first 1st to 3rd shift is actually perfect for a lot of city driving conditions. 1st gear rpm's to 2500-3000 then shift to 3rd. Easy take off to cruise at 35mph with the 4th gen. Can't imagine it's much different in the 6th gen.

Interesting. My 12 and 15 M6's rarely went into skip shift. Daily drove them.

I'll be looking forward to an eliminator. Who will be the guinea pig?

Someone will come up with a product for ya'll. That was my first $19.95 mod, installed on day 1. Unplugging the connector and I cut my knuckle, what memories.

I already installed a skip shift eliminator on my 2016 and it works great. If it will work on a 2015, then it will work on a 2016.
