Cool, did you put a tune on it or has the SES light come on?

airaid

bought it from summit, made for ls3 with magnuson supercharger, cost 499.00 with 50. rebate from airaid. i liked the carbon fiber pipe, but it is too long for the eaton supercharger connection. so i got my angle grinder out and marked the pipe for correct angles then cut it. had to drill new holes for maf sensor block and pvc nipple pipe. spent 4-5 hours making this work, this does change the intake sound and more throttle response at lower rpm.

I also have the Airaid CAI, but I also installed the 90mm ported TB and a tune
From TORQ performance... Puts you around 650-660 BPH
how does it run? those hp #s seem high. I might say 620hp max.

I dont think they are low, I think a good tune on this car is worth a very good bump in HP, I think that is why these were on a QC hold and why they haven't been performing to the numbers released, because they were all detuned.

Airaid has had the ZL1 specific kit released for about a month now. I'd suggest getting it tuned given the fact the MAF was placed in an untested location. Looks awesome!

throw out that zl1 stock air cleaner

put airaid cold air intake back on today, had it off to take car in for first oil change,,finished up the last min detail of the maf sensor, came in straight up from bottom of 4 1/4" carbon fiber tube right in the mouth of the extra large airaid filter and what a difference---- idle to 6250 rpm in a few seconds, amazing improvment with a supercharger sound now. now i got another problem tires were still smoking when i pulled in the driveway.the wifey could tell it went well by the permagrin on my face..aaaahh life with a zl1............
