My 5.0 held its value pretty well, I'll be disappointed if I don't get the same with this car.bsure I could've spent another ten for a boss but hey I had an extra 10k in my pocket over the last few years too |

Sorry I'm not going to be rapped just cause I want a car. I'm sure all GT350 owners will be insistent that they unlike pleb me, rolled a 350 for $2000 off MSRP.. ![]() I think the realistic actual out the door price for either car, I'm not far off from the norm: $33.5 for base SS vs $55+ for GT350, that is real money. |

Maybe, the last 1le I owned and drove was 98 LS1. I will say this, the A8 is a phenomenal trans / car. It is better in every way vs my M6. I chose the M6 only because I'm in my second childhood and wanted something like my 69 z/28. For my age and driving ability the A8 would be better, street, drag or race track. For my pleasure M6. I think I'm in the norm, the A8 is better and faster and I think it will be available with 1lE. Still would have to pry the M6 out of cold dead slow hand..

The 1LE looks to come with a brake upgrade as well, so you won't be able to add the 6 piston kit. I don't see MRC being available either. That will take it below $50k right there.

I don't know about you but I don't want to pay $7k for the 1LE just so people can have MRC as an option.

But we both know that's not how GM is doing options for the SS. You pay your $3500-$4500 for 1LE, Ill pay my $5000-$6000 for 1LE+MRC, everybody wins.

I was at the Rolex 24 at Daytona this weekend and after seeing the Performance Concept in person. I am only more anxious to get my hands on a 1LE!!! Start the count down!

My guess is that the 1LE will have MRC standard.

Didn't the 1LE also come with the (now $3500 LPO) 6 Pot brakes?

No, the 1LE used the standard SS brake. They were just painted red.
