Can I purchase NPP after delivery?

I got my car without NPP... And my dealer is going to give me 1500 for accessories... So can I get that now!?

Another thing I got the body color hood vent. Do I get a pair of black hood vents on top of the red that will match the car?

NPP

I was told by my dealer that NPP wasn't available yet for purchase. Verify with your dealer...they would know.

You have to check to see if it says LPO. If it does, then you get both.

Problem is NPP is connected through the ECM and BCM since it's adjustable in the vehicle dynamics menus. It's not a case of simply putting the car on the lift, getting out a few wrenches, and swapping out the exhaust system.

It's POSSIBLE that the ECM and adjustment menus can be reprogrammed, but more than likely the NPP is a factory option only. Like navigation.

Yes, the body color vents are installed by the dealer and you should have the factory installed black vents in the trunk at time of delivery.

GM's position for the Stingray most likely will apply very soon to Camaro:

Quote:
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern
A dealer or customer may enquire if RPO NPP (Performance Exhaust System) can be added to a Stingray that was produced without the option.

Recommendation/Instructions
Do NOT attempt to add RPO NPP (Performance Exhaust System) to a car that was not manufactured with it. General Motors does not support the software changes that are required.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
