What trade in value can we expect to see around the beginning of 2019?

Thats when i plan on trading up to a new model. Best guesses within a few thousand wanted.

My best guess for a 1ss is going to be mid 20's to low 30's tops. This is based on research that I've done on the 2015. The base price of a 2015 1SS was north of 36,000. Trade in value according to NADA on a fully loaded 2015 1SS with 15k miles on it is anywhere from 25K to 29K. That's for a car that's only 1 year old. I would imagine it would be a little lower for something that was 2 years old, but given that the 2016 is the more desirable of the two, I think it will hold its value a little better than the 5th gen.

Three years from now?....Hard to tell, but I've always heard best price to be had is at the two year mark....You get plenty of use out of the car, and it still has some newness left for the next guy...After two years, not so much.

Plus on these, if they have another 20% off of MSRP on new cars, or a significant refresh before you trade in yours, your trade-in, resale value will suffer....

...Good luck.

Sheesh, I got 17k for my 2014 2LS V6 trade in when I went and bought my 16, and it had 22k miles.
