Definitely fixable, but how do these things get past qc? There are some serious issues going on at the new p!ant.

Well I can assure you that is wayyyyy out of spec.
This is covere under warranty but fit and squeak and rattle issues aren't handled quite the same so don't wait. I would honestly be shocked if this came out of the body shop like this. It's really that bad. Looks like the hood was removed and reinstalled. If I recall the gap spec woul be something like +\- 1 mm maybe 1.5 tops. This looks well outside that.

...Look at the fasteners holding the hood on the hinges....See if there is any evidence of shifting or movement...Good luck.

I remember Sledgehammers hood being similar to yours. I mentioned that on his post as he was having paint issues.

get that toilet seat tweaked. then repost.
can't believe 6cyl Gen6's are priced higher than a 8cyl 1SS. can't believe I just saw a 50k Gen6 with red calipers ONLY ON THE FRONT

Well, The Gen 6 is much more car then the Gen 5 in many ways. IMO, worth the $.

Make sure they put someone on it with experience aligning panels. If all the other gaps are good, with just one bad it can be very finicky aligning them all.
