Ok if you take the time to really LOOK at video there is major changes to the front end on this car . There are NO OUTER RADIATORS IN THE FRONT BODY PANEL . GM said the SS needed 3 radiators to keep the engine cool . Well two are gone on this car . Now GM has just come out with a fix for the C7, C7 ZO7 vets. A sec radiator that goes into the auto trans cooler location . I got money that say that car in that video has a sec radiator in the auto trans cooler location. If I am right that there will be no autos for the New 1le . I also bet the new front end has better aero than the standard SS front has .
.Now that was just from looking at the video I bet there more changes to the 6 gen 1LE that will make it a way better track than the standard SS is .

The wheels on the 1LE Camaro in the above video look different that the wheels on the Camaro convertible pictured above.

The wheels on the car in the video are 5th gen carry over ones and not the actual 6th gen version shown in the eBay listing or the convertible spy pic.

These wheels we are seeing were never on the 5th gen. They are the same general design but the split between the spokes are much closer together. Could be wrong but this is what I am seeing from the pics.

Funny reads over at the other forum. Not much for them to say other than it is ugly and always will be ugly as compared to the GT350. I can't wait for the next H2H which will compare the 1LE to their prized GT350TP. I will bet that Chevy has made certain this car competes very well.

With the paint issues and some of the other issues poping up on the 2016 along with better high tier modles in the pipeline, it looks like waiting this out was a good decision. I'm feeling 2018ish. If I live that long.

The auxiliary heat exchangers are fed by the main lower grille opening, not those fog light vent things. I'm not sure what they're planning for the front-end of this car, but the fog-light vent things only feed the air curtain for the wheel wells. See this image I took at the Gen Six unveil event:

With regards to wheels...when the engineering teams test cars...they are not 100% complete, or true to production. And likely, for engineering's sake, the 10 spokes from Gen 5 probably weigh about the same as the new wheels they're using, so they just slapped them on because they're there.

I thought I remembered posts regarding the interchangeability of 5th & 6th gen wheels.
I thought the conclusion was they couldn't cross the 2 generations because of fitment issues.
If this is true, then the wheels we see in the 1LE video are indeed unique to the 1LE (& possibly the ZL1) and were styled to look like the 5th gen 1LE/ZL1 wheel.

I'd rather see a H2H vs the GT350R. The numbers the 1ss is putting down surpass the GT350 already.

The backlash from the Mustang crowd was to be expected as soon as the specs and capabilities of the new Camaro came to light. It doesn't just leap frog the GT, it leaves it in the dust.

I have 5th gen speced rims on my car.

They're still testing it though. I would love to see those wheels in any production Camaro, even though I have the black 5 spoke wheels that fit well with the car in my opinion (my car is practically black on black on black; black exterior, black wheels, black interior). I know black absorbs more heat and that my ass will burn upon contact in 100 degree heat when I sit on it, but I still like it.
