Blade spoiler DOES utilize the the existing holes left from the SS wing AND requires MORE holes to be drilled. Which the install guide written by GM also dictates that and can be found below. http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=437453 |

Can't wait to see yours installed. It's gonna look awesome on your garnet red. I wish they had a hyper blue concept car at the SEMA show with the blade spoiler installed or garnet red for that matter to give us some idea on how cool it will look.

Thank you! Yeah no kidding dude! They only had white/black and red hot :/ But I guess you and I will be the first lol. Unless Glen gets his first and we all know he will install that within minutes of getting his spoiler delivered haha.

It won't be fair, RS spoiler is going to install in half the time of an SS spoilers, just bolts and tape!

Here's why I like the blade spoiler. It really looks like not an afterthought, like the RS spoiler.... the RS looks small and looks tacked on to the trunk
![]() And here's the blade and look how it covers the whole back of the car. to me it looks like it was designed for the car. The part of the bumper right above the license plate vsually pushes out strongly, and the blade balances it more. ![]() And on the SS, it just looks way better, IMO. |

I never really stopped to think about it that way, but you're right. That's why the car looks so much more balanced with the blade spoiler. I couldn't put my finger on it. The blade for the 5th gen was a little less popular, but on the 6th gen, it sounds like this is going to be a hot option because it looks like it was intended for the car from the very beginning.

After spending time on the NASCAR garages and Xfinity vehicles with how all of em had the bladespoiler... I was 100% sold on getting it for the camaro lol. I wasn't a fan of the stock SS wing but it did grow on me, it isn't as horrible as I originally thought but personally the blade spoiler is just so much better.
One thing that I am really disappointed is the fact that Chevy didn't (or I missed it) release the actual tech info on both the stock SS wing and the blade spoiler. How much downforce @ what mph? |

I don't think it produces downforce. I think like the stock SS spoiler it's just supposed to avoid drag and lift from an aero standpoint. I could be wrong.

the down force on these things are minimal...the vette spoiler have been tested and don't come into play for any downforce until you are above 125 mph....all cosmetic for the camaro. I'm sure some of the camaro track versions coming up will be tested...
