What's up with the back seat

My dealer has my car in finally

. The car is quite nice but the back seat makes no sense at all. It looks like they elongated the cushion forward too much and the wall under the seat is way too close to the front seats. Anyone catch this? Even my 7 year old hates the back seat. It seems like they should've keep the cushion more compact (like the 5th gens) and moved the wall back a reasonable distance. There is barely room for a leg between the front and rear seats, let alone any type of legroom even for a kid.

My kids, 8 and 11, love the backseats...they are not built for adults. Mine serves it purposes once in a while when needed.

Insurance purposes only, man. Hell, my dogs don't even like it back there so the 7 year old's complaints are justified. In fact, I'm pretty sure the Geneva Conventions declared putting any living persons in the back seat of this Camaro to be a human rights violation.

They're only back seats in the figurative sense. They look like chairs, they are behind the driver's seat. It's more of a very nicely padded shelf for your coat, a quick bag of groceries, or a box of tissues.

I feel your pain, When we get together with friends in the summer and go out together. the wives sit in the back of my Gen 5. No chance in hell of that happening with the Gen 6. If you dont need back seats once in a while...Buy a Vette!

I couldn't agree more. I think the 6th gen fully embraces the idea of a "back seat".
