Haven't tried it yet. Look up the manual online, very detailed.

No haven't tried it yet until breakin is done...you have to hit the traction control/stabilitrak button twice to shut both off. Hit the gas pedal and off you go, that is it! Helps control spin for a better launch. Some have said it works ok, others have said easier to control spin by yourself manually.

There is no launch control in a V6.

Should be only on the V8 stick. No need for it on the auto.

Finally got my car out on the road after picking it up Friday night, and getting 30" of snow Saturday. I just gave Launch control a try. HOLY S! I am having second thoughts on getting a tune, this thing took off like a rocket! The A8 on this thing just flies through the shifts....You guys HAVE to try Launch control. Brings this beast to another level.

Pretty obvious how the auto will work.

Push the button so it activates launch control
push the brake then while holding the brake
push the accelerator all the way down.

The car rev's until the set limit, once it levels off at that RPM, let go of brake and off you go.

Same process for the manual only instead of brake, you hold the clutch.

Car has to be in a set position regardless of the transmission

5th Gen ZL1 had it. It works well. The ZL1 also had no lift shifting. I finally finished my break in mine and it works the same. Pretty cool how it works. Just put it in sport or track mode, press the traction contol button twice for competition mode, press in the clutch and floor the gad pedal, wait for the revs tostabilize and smoothly let off the clutch little quicker than normal shifting. Don't dump it super quick and off you go.

Does the 16 SS support no lift shift?
