Think the Dodge Hellcats are still like that.

Yeah I think I saw on one of the reviews it does come with two keys.

If you could get into GM's software, I think it would be fun to program a low power valet key for the Camaro SS. If I could do it I'd really tune it down, to peak hp under 300. Heck maybe 200 lol!

Yes, The Hellcat's Black key limits to 500HP. The Red Key unlocks the 707Hp but still very heavy monster.

Yeah Valet mode only locks out certain features in the infotainment system and such to keep Valet from changing settings and messing with you're stuff. It sure would be nice to have it restrict RPMs and max speed tho. I took mine into my regular service guy for the 1st oil change and when I went to pick it up he told me him and his wife took it for a "test drive" I'v been using this guy for years and trust him not to tear it up, he is almost like a family friend more than just some service guy but I still didn't feel to good about him taking it out for a drive when all he did was an oil change... Guess it goes with the territory of owning a car everyone appreciates!!

I don't care how friendly my mechanic is, that better not and will not happen without my consent.

That's too bad, here's a good example why a valet mode would be an excellent idea:

Yeah.. only limits the car to 500 hp... ... any valet jockey wouldn't give a damn.

Just leased a 2016 Silverado LTZ for business. Valet mode allows it to be driven no faster than 35mph.

Would be nice if the camaro had that. Don't know why it's more important for a Silverado to. At least SS and above

I'm going to ask the obvious question here. Has anyone tried going faster than 35 in valet mode on the Camaro?

Valet has no effect on speed.
