Keys making store alarm sound

I have concluded this keeps happening and it has to be from the keys. Anyone else experiencing this? Not a problem, just annoying, only happening at walmart stores in my area.

I know those alarms are easily set off from magnets, but keys who knows.

I guess it's possible. I bought a new wallet once that had the little RFID tag still sewn into it and not disabled. I set off alarms in stores for years until I found it and cut the damn thing out. Maybe it's something else like that and not the keys?

It might also be from the stuff you recently started stealing from Walmart.

I have nothing new as far as clothes and my wallet is asses old, i have had an sd card i bought from amazon still unopened in my jacket pocket for weeks so it could be that.

I have 14 stores and my keys do NOT set off the theft alarm. Strange you are having the problem.

I would guess it's the sd card before the keys.

Got a stranger one for you. I set one off going out of a Barnes and Noble one day after buying a book. Then at a Staples. Not at every store and not at Target. Next I set it off going into a Walmart. Set if off again going out. The weird thing is I don't have a cell phone and was only carrying my keys, wallet and clothes of course. Went on for awhile, was getting paranoid going in and out of stores. I went to the Walmart again and once again set if off going in. I told the greeter this had been going on for the last few days and I wanted to figure out what was causing it. Was early in the morning and slow, I handed the greeter my keys and walked through, it went off. Handed him my wallet, it went off. I even took off my coat. He's standing there holding my keys, wallet and coat, I went through and the damn thing went off. We both just shrugged our shoulders as I don't thing either one of us wanted to go further with this.
Went on for like a month and then it just stopped. Never figured that one out. Aliens?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Yeah, with things like that you have to just think about what is new that you might be carrying. SD card sounds like a possible candidate. New shoes perhaps? I've seen the things embedded in shoes, purses (assuming you don't carry one of those)

and many other items. Typically it's not a problem because they are supposed to be deactivated at the register. I'd think it was some item like that before the keys but who knows.

Lol, it just feels funny as everyone looks at me as i leave the store, but i removed the sd card from my jacket today, so we will see.
