20" Black Forged Convertible Wheels on my Hyper Blue. Loving these wheels!

Loving these new shoes on my Camaro! These are the 20 forged aluminum rims on the convertible just in black. Bought them on Ebay at the link below.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/252238041611...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

So I put my amateur home scale weighing to the test. Here are my results.

5 spoke black front 8.5" - tire&rim - 61.2 pounds
5 spoke black back 9.5" - tire&rim - 64.4 pounds

Convertible black front 8.5" - tire&rim - 55 pounds
Convertible back back 9.5" - tire&rim - 58.6 pounds

Front tires and rims are 6.2 pounds lighter each
Back tires and rims are 5.8 pounds lighter each
Total of 24 pounds off tire weight.

These are unofficial amateur home scale numbers so take it with a grain of salt I double checked these numbers a few times but not sure why the fronts weight less.

Very nice choice on the rims, i actually got my LPO 56H from the same seller and grabbed them. Got them in 3 days after i paid packed nicely too, I seen the ones you ordered from him and was up in the air on the 2 sets, but being i had the red adrenaline interior i went with the ones i got to match up a bit. Very good find and looks really great on your car, finally a picture with them!!!

Thank you for the pictures and information on the weight. Also, the car look awesome. Love the color combination. Great detail with the yellow calipers!!

Your 56H redlined/ high gloss black lpo wheels are 1995$ whereas the stock silvers or lpo low gloss blacks are @ around 1000-1200.
Besides the color differences , all these aluminium wheels are basically same composition , am i correct?

Those wheels look really nice too! They look awesome on your car! I might of bought those if you didn't snag them up so fast.

Not as of right now, the tire seller on eBay is from Livonia Michigan so not really sure how they got their hands on the 5 sets of Camaro wheels that are not even out. They had some supposedly ZL1 rims that were seen on spy shots. Below is the link to the thread.

I am pretty sure they are the same composites besides the higher gloss finish i would presume.

Looks like me and the OP will have to be replacing the TPMS as the seller had put possibly 2015 sensors in the rims OP messaged me after he went to the dealer and they couldn't calibrate the wheels. This sucks as i just ordered a TPMS tool to calibrate myself. Another added expense to order new TPMS's or deal with the light on all the time. Wow, just wow! So if you buy wheels from this seller you may have to do the same. this will be one big pain in ass taking the tires off the rims and replacing the sensors...
